For those who like to watch the television cooking shows, one favorite on television today is Iron Chef America. Families like watching this for many different reasons. They like to see what Iron Chef the chef wants to battle, as well as what the “secret ingredient” is going to be. The Iron Chefs include people like Cat Cora, Bobby Flay, Michael Symon, Mario Batali, Marc Forgione, Jose Garces and Masaharu Morimoto.

Osteria Mozza, a restaurant located in Los Angeles, is owned by Chef Mario Batali. Morimoto, a restaurant located in Philadelphia, is owned by Chef Masaharu Morimoto. Mesa Grill, a restaurant located in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, is owned by Chef Bobby Flay and finally, Kouzzina is a restaurant owned by Cat Cora. All of these chefs, are highly respected and are very talented when it comes to creating new dishes for their guests to try. When on the show Iron Chef America, their talents are really tested and displayed to the public as to how creative they can get with the “secret ingredient” that they do not know what it is going to be until moments before the “battle” begins. They then have limited time to prepare their masterpiece.
