Eating out is often viewed upon as involving significant health issues. Food ordered in restaurants often have excess amounts of calories and sodium included, neither of which are concurrent with a health lifestyle. In addition, restaurants have little incentive to decrease the calories or sodium content of dishes; individuals choose to stay away from restaurants that taste bad, but not those that have have lower sodium contents.

As a result it is up to you, as an eater, to make healthy decisions when you go out to eat.The full explanation can be found at May 2013
